Job Role Associate IT Quality Assurance Analyst
Responsibilities:
* Use tests develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
* Develop, modify, and execute all types of test plans including software, processes, procedure documents, enterprise application integration (EAI), and service oriented architecture (SOA).
* Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
* Review test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
* Assist with the basic set-up and maintenance of testing environments
* Assist with performing test cases and maintaining associated test records
* Learn to develop and utilize automated test scripts to perform duties
* Record issues into a defect-tracking system including follow-up and closing of issues
* During times of emergencies, outages and project planned work; be on call and available until the event is addressed. During system conversions, extra effort may be required in order to ensure the roll out of the system is successful.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

* Basic familiarity with testing tools and applications performance tools.
* Ability and initiative to learn scripting and test automation tools
* Ability to write test cases and procedures to an approved specification.

* Typically 0 to 2 years of experience. Emerging familiarity working with and understanding basic business processes, flow and functionality.
